Our Journey

 

When Jenna was 9 years old she wanted to make and sell something to earn some extra money.  She was the brainchild behind the start of Raindough.  She wanted a business of her own and started with 15 individual packs of PlayDough which she sold at a little market just outside of Knysna in December 2018 (age 9).

The playdough was such a success and she received so much interest, that she started making her scented, glitter play-dough to earn extra money while learning about running a business.  

 

Over the past three and half years, the business has grown exponencially and is now run fulltime by her mom, with Jenna helping in the sideline.  All the playdough is made by hand using top quality, non-toxic, food grade ingredients.  Its soft, pliable, long lasting and wont dry out overnight if one forgets to pack it away.

Packaged in bright colours, each with its own yummy, sweet fragrance, RainDough is loved by kids of all ages (including "big" kids)!

This young and inspiring entrepreneur has already sold her product at markets, various Baby Expos around SA and is now selling online and through select shops and various independent resellers across South Africa as well as Dubai.
